Ciglana, the abandoned brick factory which lies between train tracks near Subotica in Serbia is a last stop camping ground for migrants on their way through Hungary to the rest of Europe. June 19, 2015
In June 2015, Hungary proposed and will execute a wall along its southern border with Serbia in order to curb the flow of refugees moving through Europe. Refugees, in their thousands, make what is known as the Balkan route journey, through Hungary onwards northwards.
This story was shot on assignment for The Guardian.
